Happy 2010!!! This is going to be a GREAT NEW YEAR!

We had an awesome first Service of the year yesterday. We will not have children's classes-this is fill month. We have an all church session on Prayer & Fasting this weds. Jan 3rd. We begin our Daniel Fast next Sunday-Jan. 10th.

There will be a Teachers Training & luncheon the following Weds. Nite-Jan. 13 in the gym. We will be giving out the lessons for the True Love Series coming up in February.

New True Love Series

Teachers: You can start decorating your classes for the new February Series...True Love. Red is the color. We have wrist bands that say-Love Never Fails. The Love God gives us is the Truest Love! topics will be: Loving God, Loving Others, Loving Family, Loving Self. You can use Hearts-valentine is coming so there should be plenty available at the party stores.

Ice Cream Buffet this Weds. Night

Teachers, this coming weds. night will be the last lesson on OMTL. We will be combining our efforts in the gym. It will be an ice cream buffet....each child will make their own ice cream sunday....please bring variety of toppings read to serve. Crumbled Cookies, Cookie dough, candies, syrups, cherries, bannana's...etc....

Bring your board games as each teacher will sit with their students and teach the lesson and play the board game together.

The following week will be All Family Service~~Christmas Candle Light. Then Christmas Break and Fill month in January. Enjoy the Holidays with your families.

Tomorrows Craft and Next Weeks Party

Just to let you know your craft for tomorrow night... is on the reception table in the main office.

You will need glue, either a glue gun or the foam glue I gave you earlier. You are making small apple magnets. Any glue may work? Smaller children may need help putting them together.


Next week is our last lesson in one month to celebrate....ICE CREAM PARTY is the main activity

**I think it may be nice to do the ice cream buffet together in the gym. we can all pitch in and put our resources together. We will need different toppings....like crushed candy bars, candy, sprinkles, slices of banana, chocolate syrup, etc... any ideas? I will provide the 3 ice cream flavors and ice cream dishes & spoons....we will arrange it colorful in the gym and allow the kids to make their own choices in the toppings... the point being is that we are all unique and have our own individual points and it's good for us to be unique!

Our February series will begin our lessons on love. True Love Series....Love Never Fails. Loving God, Self, Family, Others, etc.... We will use Red as our color and have red arm bands. Should be a fun series.
